Abstract

 The aim of this study is to explore parent involvement to exceptional children education. This study is very important because the result of Indonesian Society for Special Needs Education (ISSE) survey show that the sum of exceptional children in Indonesia increase every year. Like normal children, the exceptional children are also have chance to develop their life skill and ability, through education and training. Hallahan and Kauffman (1988), Hardman (2002), Heward (2003), and Hunt and Marshall (2005) note that the effectiveness of education and training program for exceptional children are depend on family support and involvement.
